Type of intervention: 3.2.1 – Information and promotion on quality schemes for agricultural products and foodstuffs
Operation description: participation in the Isola della Scala "Fiera del Riso" for the years 2016 and 2017 with an institutional stand; creation and publication of a promotional monograph on the gastronomy of the Riso Nano Vialone Veronese IGP in hardcover, 1,500 copies; creation of a promotional campaign with dedicated events and sales points with free risotto tasting; organization of promotional gastronomic contests within the Isola della Scala "Fiera del Riso" 2016 and 2017.
Purposes: promotion of the IGP and of the Consorzio in a purely local / regional context, but with the greatest possible coverage and capillarity; involvement of an increasing number of consumers and awareness of the quality and use of the IGP product; increase in the added value and the saleability of the consortium product, in order to achieve greater benefits for the members and for the production area.
Achieved results: increase in the sales value of the product and the economic margin for the agricultural part; maximization of product visibility at local and non-local level; involvement of all the main actors, from production to distribution to the consumer; identification of the product with the history and territory of production.
